The TEAC X-1000R is an RTR tape recorder with 4-track, 2-channel stereo or mono system.
This magnificent R2R machine was fully serviced in 2017. It was purchased to be part of a record restoration project which with changing circumstances, did not proceed. This machine has been sitting idly without any use since the purchase so it is now time to say goodbye to equipment that does not get used.
It comes with a pair of NAB hubs, the very rare RC-100 wired remote control and a pair of empty 10 inch spools.
The recorder is installed in an original Teac timber case which ensures that it looks like a piece of furniture and not out of place in a domestic environment (Important for the lady of the house!)
For its age, it is in excellent condition.
