Every element of the Nanoray Z-Speed Badminton Racket has been designed to increase swing speed. A new frame cross section and ultra slim long shaft, together with cutting edge materials including Nanometirc and X-Fullerine make this the most aerodynamic racket that Yonex have ever produced.
Features Yonex's new grommet pattern called the Horizontal-A Concept that has allowed for the creation of the smallest frame Yonex has made. The pattern anchors four strings horizontally to allow greater flex in the string bed and create an enlarged sweet spot at the top of the frame so even off centre shots can be powerful.
The unique frame design of the Nanoray Z-Speed means that the frame is tinner at the midpoint at either side of the racket head. At this point EX-HMG, the most elastic and powerful material ever is used within the frame to allow flex on impact and propel the shuttle with explosive acceleration and devastating power.
Sonic Metal is positioned in the lower part of the frame to maximise the snap back effect, increase repulsion power and produce a crisp hitting sound.
The new lightweight built-in T-Joint is made from an epoxy resin material that enhances your level of performance by increasing the stability of the shuttle on the string bed and through the air.
The shaft of the racket features X-Fullerene, and this increases stiffness by 6% and repulsion by 4%. Ultra fast shot making is generated by near-instant 'snap-back' from the shaft during the swing.
The Control Support Cap has been made even thinner to further reduce friction through the air, while still providing precise racket control allowing maximum manoeuvrability.
To top it all off, the Isometric Square Head Shape, developed by Yonex, provides a 32% larger effective hitting area than a conventional racket.
